Our Why

So Human Apparel was created to initiate a perspective change for any and all humans whose value has been defined by society, others, or themselves. This brand is here to encourage a change in the way you see you and how you see others. Our hope is that this movement will help peel back the unnecessary layers of life and enable you to rest in the fact that all you need to be valuable, is alive.

The Power Up - Our brand features a passage of scripture from 2 Corinthians 12:9. This passage mentions taking pride in your carnal being for when we do this, it enables Christ’s power to work in and for us.  It reads, “ He said to me, ‘My grace is enough for you, because power is made perfect in weakness.’ So I’ll gladly spend my time bragging about my weaknesses so that Christ’s power can rest on me.” Simply put, He puts the super on our natural. This scripture gives us even more reason to trust exactly who He made us to be… human. Then, like with a blank canvas, He is able to adorn our very being through His power and with His Love.
